I had a fantastic experience recording as a guest for 'The Expert Seat' podcast at the OnPod studio in Ottawa. Kristen is a phenomenal host who makes you feel comfortable immediately, the studio itself is professional and well-equipped, and as a bonus, there's plenty of parking. As someone with the technical skills to edit my own podcasts, it was a luxury to be able to just focus on the conversation, knowing the production was in expert hands. What's especially great is their flexibility: you can choose the full turnkey experience where they handle everything, or just get the high-quality raw files if you prefer to edit yourself. I was invited to be a guest at the OnPod studio in Ottawa and while I though this was going to be a normal podcast recording since I've been on a few already.... Boy was I wrong. Everything was FULLY automated and setup super professionally, I really felt like I was on a TV show or Diary of a CEO. It was so easy to start and the questions were well prepared and relevant to my expertise. I also got the footage extremely fast which was something that many of Podcast services couldn't do well. I had the best experience with Jeremy, using the podcast studio at ONPODI. The space was super easy to access and incredibly user-friendly. Everything was set up professionally, and the video and sound quality were top-notch. What really impressed me was the post-session turnaround—shortly after the shoot, I received an email with all of my files, fully cleaned up and ready to publish. Seamless from start to finish. This studio is amazing! It’s stylish, professional, easy to use. The owner is a great guy with top tier customer service. The return time on recordings is super quick, everything about the service is smooth. The rates are super reasonable as well, I was paying almost 3x more somewhere else and I find this studio much better for several reasons. I started recording my podcast at the UberFlix Studio and it looked and sounded amazing right from the first episode. I had thought about setting up a home studio and could have easily paid several thousand dollars for equipment, but even then the podcast still wouldn't have looked or sounded as good as it does when I record at UberFlix. Wow. This studio has everything and then some and was so easy to get started in. Custom lighting, multiple camera angles, and crystal clear, all automated and at the touch of a single button. Jeremy was very helpful right from the start. Answered my questions over email and helped with additional questions over a video call. Booked an hour session to test out the studio before scheduling a time with a client and it went extremely well and lived up to the expectations. The entire process was seamless; the instructions provided were clear, easy to follow, and made using the space incredibly straightforward. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that there was no operator present during our session. It created a more intimate and comfortable environment where everyone could simply focus on the conversation. The guests were able to get lost in the discussion, and the atmosphere felt very natural because the energy in the room was completely shaped by the people there. Their customer service was excellent as well. The on-call team was quick to respond, picked up calls promptly, and was always helpful whenever we had questions.
